Conducting Business in Japan: Nagoya Branch

This Design Document was created to outline a course that would train employees before going to work abroad in Japan. The company wanted all employees to feel comfortable and confident as they navigate working in a new cultural environment. They also wanted to utilize a video and scenarios for language practice to ensure employees had a grasp of the basics and could show their colleagues respect.

Time Management for Productive Teams

This Design Document was created to outline a course that would train managers on proper time management techniques and benefits. One on one meetings with managers showed a relatively high level of job overwhelm, and lack of time management knowledge. Employee turnover rates have been affected by these contributing factors. This company wants to reduce the overwhelm felt by their department managers, and increase overall productivity and work satisfaction for all. 

Meeting the Client's Travel Needs

This Design Document was created to outline a course that would train all ABC travel agents to meet a specific success rate.  The company was particularly focused on training employees in accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing options. They wanted to use interactive knowledge checks and scenario-based assessment questions. The company also wanted an avatar to assist the learner throughout the course.

This Storyboard details visual design, interactions, and course script. This outline utilizes video and other fun interactions to convey the information and achieve the desired increase in employee understanding.

Successful Interviewing: Your Role, Your Team, and Strategies

This Design Document was created to outline a course that would train all members of the Bright Star LLC interviewing team, including Recruiters, HR Interviewers, and Hiring Managers.   The company wanted to increase the quality and quantity of candidates by training the interviewing team on their role, that of their team members, and the essential steps of the interviewing process. The company wanted interactive avatars to assist the learner, as well as scenarios to reinforce the content.

This Storyboard details visual design, interactions, and course script. This outline utilizes avatars and other fun interactions to convey the information and achieve the desired understanding of interviewing roles and techniques.

Staying Connected While Working Remotely (Vyond) 

This Storyboard details visual design, transitions, and course script. This outline utilizes music, outside assets (logo), multiple scenes, and character narration to convey the information and welcome new remote team members.

Techniques to Reduce Everyday Stress (Camtasia)

This Storyboard details visual elements, including videos and images, as well as timestamps as they apply to the narration. On-screen text supports the information the learner is hearing to reinforce important concepts.
